About Us
WCC was birthed by a calling from the Lord to be a beacon of truth and faith in Walkerton IN. We are a place of worship, prayer, and love to all who join us. Our community is richly diverse, with people of different ages and backgrounds coming together to worship and serve together. We welcome all individuals seeking God’s truth and love. Our doors are open to every soul seeking to welcome Jesus into their lives.
Our Calling
We believe that the people who make up the members of Christ’s body are His Church; designated as both the bride and body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit, existing to evangelize the lost and to edify the saved to the glory of God alone.
Jesus tells his followers, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:18-20
What We Believe
We believe that the entire Bible is the Word of God, written perfectly under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is to be strictly and reverently understood according to the author’s original intent. Taken as such, we believe the Bible is sufficient to have supreme authority (superseding even this document) in all matters of life and faith.
